Part of the 2026 Hungry for Better Sex, Pleasure and Intimacy series, join us for our April gathering - Hungry for Sensation (not performance).
Pleasure literacy, arousal myths & the problem with “doing it right”
Many women believe they are “low desire” when they are, in fact, disconnected from sensation ,often through pressure, performance, or misunderstanding how arousal really works. This session invites you to step out of doing sex “properly” and into listening more honestly to your body.
In this session, we’ll explore:
The difference between arousal and desire
Why many people think they’re “low desire”
Sensation as information, not achievement
Pleasure through a food metaphor: bland, nourishing, and over-stimulating experiences
Together we will gently challenge the idea that pleasure is something to perform, earn, or get right, and instead invite curiosity about what your body actually responds to.
No expertise required. Just a willingness to notice.
You’re welcome whether you feel confident, uncertain, curious, disconnected, or simply interested.
There is no expectation to share, disclose, or explain yourself, listening is enough.
Spaces are limited so register now for £10 to secure your place.
